Miesha Quinones

I understand how difficult it can be in searching for a therapist that feels like the right fit. The most important thing to me, and about my approach, is that the relationship between myself and my clients is equally as important as providing services. I use an easy manner, warmth, honesty, humor (as appropriate), and a direct approach when working with clients. My goal is to provide a safe emotional environment that is optimal for healing. I understand how much courage it can take to be vulnerable and asking for help. I want my clients to be able to feel heard, acknowledged and empowered to make effective changes towards a meaningful life.  I have experience with different treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic and Post-Modern approaches.  I tailor my treatment approach to what elicits the most effective outcomes for my clients.
